Who We Are
We require all staff members at PWSS hold current QLD Working With Children Check and resuscitation certificates. This is compulsory minimum certification.
Our staff are licenced in or working towards their Coaching and/or LTS teaching qualifications through AUSTSWIM, SWIM Coaches and Teachers Australia or RLSA.
We provide ongoing training days for our instructors and offer opportunity for continued professional development. Encouraging staff to continue learning for the benefit of our students.
Why Us
With a combined time of 60+ years of teaching and coaching, Pat and Lee have in the past taught and coached some of the great names on Australian swimming. PWSS is an extended family, we greet our students and families by name. We enjoy welcoming everyone into the fabric and pride ourselves on fostering long term beneficial relationships.
Pat holds a ‘Performance Coach’ licence and Lee an ‘Advanced Coach’, these are the highest and second highest coaching levels respectively award by SWIM Australia. Both Lee and Pat have current coaching, teaching and presenting accreditations with all providers of aquatic qualifications.
With lessons starting from 3 months through to stroke correction and continuing up to National level, Pat, Lee and their staff have a long and continuing relationships with all their swimmers past and present.
